If You Need Help When We Are Closed
If you are unwell and the surgery is closed the following services are available.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, the telephone lines will be closed for lunch but the surgery door will remain open, for urgent medical assistance. Wednesdays between 12:30 – 2:00pm we’re closed for training, for urgent medical assistance which may require an ambulance please dial 999, for other medical assistance please wait until the surgery re-opens at 2:00pm.
Monday to Friday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm and during Weekends and Bank Holidays from 8:00am to 8:00pm contact the GP evening and weekend service (provided by Barnet Federated GPs) on 020 3948 6809
For medical attention outside of these times please contact NHS111, call 111 from any phone.
A walk in service for minor injuries is available at Edgware Community Hospital, Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware, Middlesex HA8 OAD. Telephone: 020 8732 6459.
For serious illness or injury please attend the nearest Accident and Emergency Department.
Transport
Hendon Station is a 10-minute walk from the surgery. There is a bus stop outside the surgery for the following bus numbers: 32, 142, 83 and 183.
Physical Accessibility
There is disabled access and disabled toilet facilities at Hendon Way Surgery. A hearing loop is available at reception if needed.
How to Make a Complaint
There may be times when you feel a formal complaint is necessary. The practice operates a complaints procedure in line with the NHS regulations. You can make a complaint verbally, in writing or via email at hendonwaysurgery@nhs.net to the Practice Manager.
